Islamabad/ MIRPUR (AJK), (Parliament Times) :Chairman Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organization Azmi Abdul Hameed on Friday called on President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry at Kashmir House Islamabad.During the meeting the duo discussed in detail the issues of mutual concern and strengthening cultural and educational links between Malaysia and Azad Kashmir. Speaking on the occasion the AJK president lauded the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for reiterating its renewed solidarity and support to Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle for right to self-determination. The President also thanked the OIC for providing him an opportunity to represent his people during the historic summit held in Islamabad.On the occasion, the MCCIO Chairman condemned the atrocities committed by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir. He also approved linking cultural and educational programs between Azad Kashmir and Malaysia. The visiting Malaysian leader invited President Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry to visit Malaysia. The President accepted the invitation and the date of his visit to Malaysia will be announced soon.
