Muzaffarabad: A meeting of Refugees representatives regarding deteriorating situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) was organized under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat here on Saturday.
Representatives in the meeting vowed to continue the struggle for the independence of the IIOJ&K.
While addressing the meeting, refugee representatives said that all the measures enacted in the IIOJ&K since October 27, 1947 to August 5, 2019 and onwards were against will and consent of the people.
Speakers strongly rejected the conversion of Muslim identity into minority, the execution of domicile and conditional provisions like 370 and 35A by tyrant Indian government.
The Kashmiri refugee representatives called for a free, fair and impartial referendum for the Kashmiri people and demanded UNSC, OIC, EU and all international organizations to play their role.
The speakers said that the Kashmiri people must have the right to wage all kinds of political, diplomatic and military struggle for the freedom and sovereignty of their homeland from India.
They also supported the struggle of the Kashmiri people for independence and paid tribute to the spirit of independence of the Kashmiri people for their relentless, tireless and everlasting struggle for independence.
Refugee representatives also reiterated their commitment to play an effective role in liberating Kashmir from Indian illegal military occupation.
They said that Government of Pakistan, AJK government, political and religious parties should launch a statewide resistance movement for the independence of IIOJ&K and launch a massive anti-India protest movement.
The 1989 leadership of the Muhajirs demanded the government to provide land to the Kashmiri Muhajirs temporarily residing in rented houses and lands by providing land to the overcrowded families in the camps.
The speakers demanded that in addition to ensuring implementation of 6% quota in government jobs, the government should also implement quota from scale 1 to 15, issuance of Domicile Certificate for Muhajirs 1989, the government should increase the monthly living allowance of Muhajirs of Kashmir.
Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Raja Zakheer Khan, Ali Muhammad Butt, Chaudhry Muhammad Mushtaq, Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail, Hafiz Bilal Ahmad Farooqi, Shuja ul Haq, Faujdar Butt, Iqbal Yaseen, Chaudhry Shah Wali, Maqsood Kayani, Syed Hamza Shaheen, Maulvi Shabbir Ahmed, Lal Din Awan, Abdul Hameed Lone, Haji Rangeel Butt, Raja Mohammad Irshad, Mohammad Ashraf Butt, Gulzaman Tantre, Mohammad Ismail Khan, Mohammad Bashir Khan, Mohammad Maqsood Kayani, Usman Ali Hashim, Chaudhry Mohammad Riaz, Mohammad Ismail and otheres were present in the meeting.
