Around 60,000 people are infected with AIDS, 52,000 in Sindh, 11,000 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 3,000 in Baluchistan. During 2016-17, the number of people living with AIDS has increased by more than 8000 in which Punjab is still at the top with more than 3000 patients registered.
