The prolong protest led by the Balochistan General secretary of Jamat-i-Islami, maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman has completed its 27 day of the movement “Gawadar ko haq do” On December, 12, in which his party took rallies all over the country to show solidarity to the sitting of Gawadar protesters that consists of hundreds of thousand people including men, women, children and people from various professionals. He reiterated that until demands which are constitutional rights of them are not accepted, they would proceed their protest. However, the Main demands of them include that they should be allowed for border trade, should ban illegal drugs stores, let inhabitants to fish, decreasing of FC posts in the city and stoppage of illegal fishing through trawler mafia. In addition, to his speech, he claimed that the people coming from different cities of Balochistan and Sindh province in supports of them are being prevented by the police and other law enforcement agencies. Furthermore, to a respond of Prime Minister Imran Khan tweet, he added that he is optimistic that if PM took notice of it, he would solve their issues. On the other side, the supreme leader of the Jamat-i-Islami Mr Siraj-ul-haq talking to media says that if the provincial and federal government do not meet to the demands of the Gawadar people, he along with the public throughout the whole country will March toward Gawadar for the support of the sitting therein.
