AJK President advises AJK Advocate General to submit report on the issue to him within next 15 days,
MIRPUR (AJK), (Parliament Time) : Azad Jammu Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry Wednesday categorically said “certain of jobs are being exercised in Azad Jammu Kashmir by the incumbent regime as had already been identified by him and such exercises are causing weakening of our national stance on Kashmir issue”.
He was talking to Khawaja Maqbool War, Advocate General of Azad Jammu Kashmir, who called on him at the President House in Jammu & Kashmir House in the Federal metropolis, says an official handout issued by the Presidential Secretariat Kashmir House, Islamabad on Wednesday.
“Being President of the AJK State, it is my responsibility to make a check on such exercises”, President Sultan said.
The AJK President continued as saying “Non-State Subject and imported persons have been inducted I Mirpur and other parts of Azad Jammu Kashmir and I have directed to the AJK Advocate General Khawaja Maqbool War to look into the matter by visiting Mirpur personally to ascertain that who was performing behind the curtain to weak out stance at this significant turn of Kashmir issue”.
Barrister Sultan Mahmood further said “ I have further directed to the Advocate Geeral of Azad Jammu Kashmir Khawaja Maqbool War to probe into the matter and submit a report to him within next 15 days so that I could move to take action against those responsible of the above exercise and could be brought to justice – and the people of Azad Jammu & Kashmir could also understand that which elements intended to resort to harm to the Kashmir issue at this juncture”.
“On this occasion, the President of Azad Jammu Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry and Khawaja Maqbool War, Advocate General of Azad Jammu Kashmir discussed matters of mutual interests besides other affairs”, the official handout said adding that the AJK President directed the AJK Advocate General to submit a report on the above issue to him within next 15 days”.
