Symposium “Advances in Molecular Biology of Plants and Health Sciences” on Thursday 23rd December. Research knowledge that will be disseminated by eminent international
and national scientist at this event, is expected to have long-lasting and huge impact on designing of new policies by government in field of agriculture and health. It is worth
mentioning that cotton varieties developed at CEMB, CKC2, CEMB 33 and CA 12, are giving promising results in field and are source of relief for farmers. Also, this Centre has
developed stem cells based treatment for eyes. Honourable Provincial Minister Agriculture Punjab, Syed Hussain Jahanian Gardezi and Federal Minister Food and Nutrition, Syed
Fakhar Imam along with Vice-Chancellor University of the Punjab, Prof. Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar will grace the inauguration ceremony.
