Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : President Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has said that Poonch University has a key role to play in the educational development. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rasool Jan took charge of Poonch University in difficult circumstances. He expressed these views while addressing a meeting of Poonch University Senate. On this occasion, a committee was also formed for the appointment of Vice Chancellor Poonch University. The Senate apprised the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry of the details on various issues facing the University. On this occasion Vice Chancellor Poonch University Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rasool Jan, Rector International Islamic University Islamabad Prof. Dr. Masoom Yaseen Zai, Vice Chancellor Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women’s University Peshawar Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, Former Vice Chancellor Mirpur University of Science and Technology Prof. Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Dr. Liaqat Hussain, Former Registrar Supreme Court of Pakistan Dr. Faqir Hussain, Former Secretary Sardar Mohammad Siddique Khan, Former Secretary Sardar Mohammad Rahim Khan, Director General Academics Higher Education Commission Mohammad Raza Chauhan, Prof. Dr. Nasir Rahim. Dr. Imran Hayat, Dr. Khawaja Shafiq Ahmed and Registrar Poonch University Prof. Dr. Adnan Idrees were also present.
