ISLAMABAD, (Parliament Times) : Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Member Legislative Assembly Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has said that Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir could not dampen the spirit of independence of Kashmiris. The daily increase in the number of Indian troops in occupied Kashmir is a matter of concern for Kashmiris. Kashmiris’ spirit of independence cannot be quenched by force. Kashmiris have not compromised on any option other than independence. Kashmiris have fought a long struggle for independence. Our forefathers have made immense sacrifices. Kashmiri women, children, the elderly and especially the youth are being genocide in Occupied Kashmir. Every day, the youth are being targeted and martyred in Occupied Kashmir which is strongly condemned.
And, call on the United Nations to immediately withdraw Indian troops from occupied Kashmir and give Kashmiris their basic right, the right to self-determination so that Kashmiris can decide their own future. He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of workers.
He said that we stand by the brothers of occupied Kashmir and have not spared any sacrifice for independence. The day is not far when Kashmir will be free.
