The shortage of gas in Pakistan is going to impose significant costs on the economy. Because of gas shortage people are facing many problems such as they are unable to three times a day for cooking and this winter season lack of gases affected our lives. According to reports LNG imports since 2015 have only partially filled the domestic supply gap. But in this year, shortages are likely to aggravate because of uncertainty over LNG supply over the next few months on the back of soaring international prices. It may also affect our generation. Due to lack of gas, they were forced to send their children to school and college without breakfast. There are many cities are suffering from gas shortages, especially, Quetta, Karachi, Multan, and Gujranwala, etc. Affected to a report in Quetta and Gujranwala, the increased prices of gas LPG per kg in Quetta have surged by Rs 70 per kg, its total price increasing to RS 230 per kg. The price of gas is increasing due to the shortage of gas. So the government should do something about this issue.
