Today, several nations are led by females and some countries, such as Finland, also have a cabinet dominated by women. These achievements have been possible in large part thanks to gender equality measures. In Asian countries, It is very hard for a woman to participate in Politics. The Asian women who have been successful in poltics are real heroes. Naila Shahzaman Mir is one of those heroes. Naila Shahzaman Mir is a highy educated girl. She has done a masters in economics. She is Ex deputy general secertary and founding member of PTI sports and culture wing. She is central additional general secertary Aam admi party pakistan. She contested election as a member legislative assembly in recent election held on 25th july. She is the 1st female to contest general elections from consituency 2 lachrat in 70 years political history of the AJK. She is the first female in the history of Azak Kashmir who raised voice against old political system. She has been a Senior Anchor for PTV AJK and kay 2 tv for 15 years. She is the founder/ chairperson of Artist Welfare Foundation azad kashmir. She is Ambassador of association of pakistani physicians and surgeon UK. She is the General Secertary of education health social affairs society Muzaffarabad (EHSAS) and admin director plab hive UK (UK based medical academy providing services to health professionals across the globe). She is a board member and trustee of Humanity Comes First organization. She has received many awards, shields of appreciation in different cultural events and in the field of Art. She has represented not only culture of kashmir as well as Pakistan among 7 south asian countries youth. She is a Gold medalist in the field of comparing/hosting and as artist in azad kashmir, Pak kashmir art and cultural society.Naila has received many awards, shields of appreciation in different cultural events and in the field of Art. When i asked Naila about her successful political career, she said: “I am one of the founders of the PTI in Azad Kashmir. During my 15 years of struggle, I delivered Imran Khan’s message from house to house. I am very proud of being the first female candidate to contest general election from Lachhrat constituency and the second female to contest election for AJK Legislative Assembly. Inspite of my extraordinary services, i was not given PTI’s ticket . It was very painful to me but I did not give up. I always openly supported PM Imran Khan’s ideology. I want to have a meeting with PM Imran Khan and inform him of the whole situation. Contrary to the PTI’s manifesto, feudalism and hereditary politics has been included in the party. I was the first girl in my village to get a master’s degree. Apart from politics, I am working for many charitable organizations. I am the first female political worker in Azad Kashmir to speak out against hereditary politics and feudal system. As a political worker, my sole purpose to is to raise voice for the rights of the suffering people, especially women. I formed Artist Welfare Foundation so that the Artists could get their rights.”When i asked Naila about her future plans, she said: “My sole purpose of life is to serve the humanity through politics. I am determined to constest Local Bodies Elections to be held soon. Apart from this, i am fully determined to contest next General Assembly Elections, Insha Allah.”When i asked Naila, what message would you like to give to our youth, she said: “Raise your head high and leave all the fear of mind behind. Never step back when the storm comes, instead face it with the full courage. Believe you always then nothing seem impossible.”In developing countries , Politics is a bed of thorns especially for women. Naila Shahzaman Mir has proved that women can do everything. She is not only a political worker but also a great social worker. She is a multitalented girl. She is a great example of women empowerment. She is a role model for youth. She is a precious asset to our nation. It would not be worng to say that she is the most inspiring and influential girl in the history of Azad Kashmir.
