MIRPUR ‘(AJK),   (Parliament Time) : Pakistan Air Force (PAF) gifted an FT6 plane to lake city of Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) is being installed under the spirit to further beautify this city of UK-based Kashmiri expatriates.

This Is Just To Keep The Record Right As Many Of Peoples Circles and institutions are dying to take credit of the fighter plane that has Reached in Mirpur lately after a delay of almost two years owing to Covid-19 restrictions imposed in the PAF.

The fighter airliner is being displayed on WAPDA~owned land, Its Platform Is being Constructed By NGO ~ KORT & Mr. Sakhawat (Lessee Asifa Bhutto Park).. With The Coordination Of MDA And Municipal Corporation, according to the authorities.

The fighter aircraft , which is being installed at the city’s entering point, had featured both in 1965 and 1971 wars against India.

PAF’s team of technicians have so far reached the site, and engaged in installation process.

The reports say the plane was first installed at Mandi Bahauddin following which it was taken to Peshawar where it was dismantled in order to install it in Mirpur.

The jubilant local population including those from suburbs have starting visiting the site in large numbers to have a look.

They said that the plane gifted to the city by the air force is priceless.
