MARDAN: Haji Ihsanullah Bacha, chairman of the Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) on Friday said that DRC has resolved more than 6,703 disputes in the district. He expressed these views while addressing a news conference at Mardan press club. Other members of DRC were also present at this occasion.
Ihsanullah Bacha said that DRC was established in 2015 on district level. He added that later on it was extended to other tehsil of Mardan district. He added that former IGP Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa late Nasir Khan Durani strengthened
the DRC. He added that it is need of time that the government should more strengthen the DRC because it plays a great role in the resolving of minor disputes. He added that DRC resolved more than 6,703 disputes.
He added that through this way the DRC gave relief to more than 14,000 families. He added that DRC resolved 38 cases of murders, 2,254 cases of property related, 2,686 money related and 1,695 family cases. He added that DRC resolved more that 20 crore and 47 lakh rupees disputes of property and business dealing.
