Today, United Nations aid agencies say more than 22 million Afghans, including millions of children, are facing severe food shortages. They alert to hold up in providing humanitarian assistance to the war-torn country could be a disaster next winter.The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said Afghanistan is a country of about 40 million people unless immediate action is taken to address the humanitarian, economic and political crises, all of them will fall into abject poverty by the middle of 2022.According to the statement of the International Organization for Migration, Afghanistan is currently facing massive displacement. It is estimated that by 2021 there will be more than 5.5 million internally displaced persons (IDPs), including more than 680,000 newly displaced by the conflict. In 2021, this is in addition to the 1.1 million Afghans returning from Iran and Pakistan. The United Nations has said the country is undermining the fundamental rights of women and girls under the Taliban, strengthening its call for a more inclusive government in Afghanistan. The fundamental rights and freedoms of women and girls in Afghanistan are generally restricted. Taliban officials emphasized that they needed more time to clarify and implement the policy
