PM AJK meets Chairman Senate to discuss mutual interests matters

Islamabad/MIRPUR (AJK),    (Parliament Times) : Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi called on Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani at Parliament House today.

Issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting. The Chairman Senate expressed concern over the recent inhumane acts of Indian Army in indian illegally occupied jammu and Kashmir. He said that Kashmiri youths were being martyred through fake police encounters in Occupied Kashmir and not handing over their corpses to their families was a serious violation of basic human rights. Pakistani Nation and Government Stand in solidarity with our Kashmiri brothers.
Issues related to promotion of tourism and industrial development in Azad Jammu and Kashmir were also discussed during the meeting. The Chairman Senate assured full cooperation to the Government of Azad Kashmir for the promotion of tourism and hydropower projects in Azad Kashmir. He stressed the need to ensure the provision of basic necessities of life to the people living on the Line of Control (LoC).
The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that the PTI-led government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir has started a new era of development and progress in the state as per the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.
