Brussels (PR): Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) Ali Raza Syed has called for immediate release of Kashmiri student Asif Shabir Naik detained in occupied Kashmir.
In a statement issued from Brussels Ali Raza Syed said, we strongly condemned the detention of the student Asif Shabir Naik.
It is important to mention that Asif Shabir Naik who is student of an international university of Islamabad, the Pakistani capital and was on visit to his homeland in occupied Kashmir, has been arrested by Indian security forces in the occupied land.
Chair of KC-EU said, situation in occupied Kashmir has been severe and particularly Modi government is currently engaged in destroying life of the Kashmiri youth. Kashmiri youth are being targeted in extra judicial actions by the Indian occupation forces and thousands of unnamed graves are evidence of the killings of the Kashmiri during detention by the security forces. Kashmiri students were already being ra targeted by the Indian brutal fanatic elements backed by the Modi government.
Ali Raza Syed urged the international community to take serious notice of the severe situation of human rights occupied Kashmir.
He added, international community especially European Union should pressurize India to stop violation of human rights in the occupied territory.
