South Waziristan: According to details, the district administration and the food department have decided to bury the poor people alive by selling flour, sugar and ghee at flour dealers instead of giving them to the people.
Trade union leader Madanur Mehsud while talking to media persons said that the Deputy Commissioner has reduced 600 bags of 20 kg prescribed for Makin in a week to 300 bags. While 30 bags of cheap sugar are provided weekly, the union leader said that the deputy commissioner had smuggled Afghanistan by plundering the package allocated by the government for the poor and selling it to big dealers in the area. “When we complain to the food department officials, they reply that we distribute quota of flour and sugar on the orders of the deputy commissioner,” he said. He demanded immediate action against the corrupt district administration
