LAHORE (Parliament Times): Provincial Ministers Dr Yasmin Rashid, Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari, Malik Muhammad Anwar, Maj (R) Tahir Sadiq MNA, Malik Jamshed Altaf MPA, PTI Attock president Qazi Ahmad Akbar, district council’s chairperson Eman Tahir, ticket holders Malik Khuram Ali Khan, Akbar Khan Tanoli and others met with Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar in Attock on Friday. The CM extended his condolences to Qazi Ahmad Akbar over the death of his father Qazi Khalid Mahmood and offered Fateha for the departed soul. Talking on this occasion, the CM regretted that the past governments deliberately neglected Attock and deprived this district of the development process. The PTI government has started several important projects to develop it, he told. The CM said the government has returned the people their rights and the volume of development work is unprecedented. Attock will continue to be the political stronghold of the PTI; he maintained and added that record funds have been provided to develop health, education and other facilities. The parliamentarians, as well as the PTI office-bearers, are my strength. Meanwhile, district development packages have been devised with parliamentarians’ consultation to ensure composite development, he stated. While the government was moving the country forward, the opposition was following an anti-development agenda but the country would continue to move ahead and critics will be left behind, CM concluded.
