MUZAFFARABAD,(Parliament Times): Azad Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet decides to repeal the Adhoc Act 2021 through an ordinance. The Cabinet to launch Kashmir development package for construction and development of free zone. Decision to hold local body elections before June next year and equalize the death package of government employees with Punjab.

After the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, briefing the media, Minister for Information, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sardar Fahim Akhtar Rabbani and Minister for Planning and Development Chaudhry Muhammad Rashid said that the Ad Hoc Act was a discriminatory law of the previous government through which certain people were rewarded. They  said that a committee headed by Senior Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has been formed for the development package of Rs 500 billion announced by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for the state. Under this package, construction of Mansehra Expressway, construction of various tunnels, construction of expressway beyond Murree, Noori Nar Sharda tunnel and 31 km road, Lepa tunnel, inter-district projects, agriculture, livestock, skill development and tourism projects started. The cabinet also formed a committee for third party recruitment, which includes the information minister, education minister and law secretary.
