Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has said that he has aggressively raised the issue of Kashmir at the diplomatic level and we assure the people of Occupied Kashmir that they are not alone in their struggle but the children of Azad Kashmir. He stands by their side in this struggle. I have asked the government to hold early local body elections in Azad Kashmir. Similarly, the process of accountability should be started soon so that good governance can be established in Azad Kashmir and a corruption-free society can be created. These views were expressed by the President of Azad Kashmir while addressing a large public meeting in Kotli. Former Member Kashmir Council Chaudhry Mehboob Advocate presided over the public meeting while Minister Chaudhry Akhlaq Ahmed, Minister for Higher Education Malik Zafar, Minister for Health Ansar Abdali, Minister for Social Welfare Sardar Muhammad Hussain, Law Minister Fahim Akhtar Rabbani and others were present on the occasion. Ministers were also present on the occasion. The President said that work for construction of 400-bed hospital in Kotli would also be started soon. While for the solution of other problems of the people of Kotli, I will ask the government to solve the problems of Kotli Distric.
