Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : After the Punjab Chief Minister approved the Rawalpindi Ring Road and announced the date of its foundation stone, the concerns about the Ring Road Rawalpindi were allayed. Prime Minister Imran Khan will lay the foundation stone of the Ring Road on December 25. According to sources, the length of the six-lane road has been reduced from 64 km to 38.3 km after the Ring Road scandal. This road from Mouza Banth to Thalian will be a six-lane road and a major interchange at Chak Bailey, Adiala Road, Chakri Road. This motorway-style road will be signal-free and interchangeable. The construction of Ring Road will reduce traffic congestion in Rawalpindi and Islamabad and boost industrial, residential and other activities in its vicinity and create ample employment opportunities. Being attached to cpek will make it even more important.
