Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times): The cleaning campaign is going on in full swing in Azad Kashmir under the supervision of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan to make Azad Kashmir clean and beautiful according to the instructions of the government .
During the cleaning week, public places including highways, bazaars, educational institutions, offices, hospitals, drains and streets are being cleaned in all districts and Tehsil headquarters of the state. The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary visited different areas of the capital Muzaffarabad here on Tuesday and reviewed the ongoing clean-up drive .
Talking on the occasion, Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan urged the people of all walks of life to actively participate in the cleaning campaign to make Azad Kashmir clean and beautiful.
He said the main objective of the sanitation campaign is to keep ourselves and our surroundings clean and to safe from diseases. He said Cleaning is not just a matter of one week, but of making it a part of our daily routine. Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad also briefed the Chief Secretary about the ongoing sanitation campaign in Muzaffarabad.
