QUETTA,  (Parliament Times) : Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmad Agha has made the remarks and expressed views while presiding over a meeting with representatives of WASA and KESCO at the Governor House in Quetta on Thursday that If the issue of clean water supply in the provincial capital Quetta had been taken seriously in time, the problems would not be so serious today. He directed the concerned authorities to take immediate and timely steps to overcome the shortage of clean water and bring clean water to the homes of every citizen.

Governor Zahoor Agha made it clear in no uncertain terms that no negligence would be tolerated with regard to water supply to the citizens. He said that there is an urgent need to formulate a comprehensive strategy to make the clean water distribution system efficient and improved.

Meanwhile, Provincial Secretary Saleh Nasir, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Irfan Nawaz Memon, Chief Executive Officer KESCO Engineer Muhammad Arif, Acting Principal Secretary to Governor Abdul Nasir Dotani and Wasa Deputy MD Hamid Latif Rana were also present during the meeting.
