Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Deputy Chairman Senate Mirza Muhammad Afridi planted a tree in the lawn of the Parliament Lodges as part of a tree planting campaign.
Deputy Chairman Senate Mirza Muhammad Afridi emphasized that all the institutions have to work together for the promotion of environment friendly traditions. Green Pakistan is the guarantee of a prosperous Pakistan.
The Deputy Chairman Senate highlighted that tree planting is very important to combat climate change. He suggested that the Parliamentarian should plant trees in their constituencies while launching the tree planting campaign. Mirza Muhammad Afridi said that a clean environment reflects progressive thinking.
The Deputy Chairman Senate appealed to the people to participate in the tree planting campaign. On this occasion, the Deputy Chairman Senate also prayed for the development and prosperity of the country.
