ZHOB: Keeping in mind the importance of technical education, Aryan Technical College for male and female students inaugurated under the auspices of Aryan Institute here in Zhob.
Principal Taleem Foundation Syeda Zubaria Kazmi was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony that held at Circuit house. Educationists, professors, students, members of civil society and representatives of non-governmental organizations attended the ceremony in a large number.
CEO Aryan Technical College Saqib Khan in his welcome remarks said that Aryan institute has been registered in 2015, and hundreds of male, female students have so far received their diplomas in technical education, computer and various technical trades.
Addressing the participants, prominent economist and associate professor at BUITEMS Syed Irfan Raza Shah, Deputy Registrar Tariq Shah, lecturer Sydal Khan Mandokhail, District Officer Education Sheikh Musa Khan Mandokhail, Coordinator EU-BRACE Programme Samad Khan Harifal, former General Manager NCHD A. Razzaq Kakar, Wali Aryan, Dr. Farida Kibzai and Abdul Basit highlighted the importance of ICT and need for the technical education.
They said that technical education was the key to economic stability of a country. In this age of information technology, technical education and training for youth was the only source of employment.
“Technical education plays a significant role in equipping youth with skills in this era of science and technology. Developed countries use technical and vocational training as a tool to build skilled manpower in order to alleviate poverty,” adding the rampant unemployment and poverty can be reduced by equipping the youth with employable skills. They added.
