ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has said international community should play positive role in government making process in Afghanistan.
He said this while talking to Executive Director of United Nations World Food Program (WFP) David Beasley who called on PM here on Thursday.
Lauding WFP efforts PM said Pakistan was benefitting from its various projects which are being implemented in the country and we value its partnership with the organization.
PM said that formation of an inclusive Afghan government and positive engagement of international community with Afghanistan is the way forward to avert any humanitarian crisis and secure peace and stability in Afghanistan.
The Prime Minister underlined that Pakistan has been a beneficiary of various WFP projects that are being implemented in the country and values its partnership with the organization.
The two exchanged views on continuing facilities to Afghan people on humanitarian grounds and evolving situation in Afghanistan.
Executive Director Beasley said on the occasion they are grateful to Pakiistan for facilitating WFP in extending food assistance to Afghanistan.
