ISLAMABAD/ MIRPUR (AJK), (Parliament Times) : The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has said that the people of occupied Kashmir have been facing Indian repressions with courage and velour and their sacrifices have added a new chapter in the freedom history.
He was talking to the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi who called on him here on Monday . The Pakistan Prime Minister also discussed with the AJK Prime Minister about the administrative structure and agenda of reforms to ensure transparency in the government for the socio economic well being of the people of Azad Kashmir. The Prime Minister of Pakistan lauded the opening of Kashmir premier league in Azad Kashmir which would go a long way in promoting the international sports activities in the state.
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister also called on the Acting President of Pakistan Sadiq Sanjrani and discussed with him matters relating to the promotion of Tourism and industrial development in Azad Kashmir. The Acting President assured full cooperation to the Azad Kashmir government for the promotion of Tourism and Hydro power projects in AJK. The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister on the occasion said after coming into power the government in Azad Kashmir would start a new era of progress and development in Azad Kashmir in accordance with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan .The Acting President underlined the need to ensure the provision of basic amenities of life to the people living at the line of control.
Meanwhile, talking to the delegations of Ulema, the Prime Minister said that a comprehensive development strategy will be chalked out to bring about socio economic changes in the lives of the people of the state. He said strong and stable Azad Kashmir will be a great source of Inspirations for the people of occupied Kashmir and would effectively play its role for the liberation of occupied Kashmir. He said the new government would channelize all the resources for the prosperity and development of the people of the state.
He said Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is the real ambassador of Kashmir people and he has projected the Kashmir issue effectively at international level and added that Kashmir issue is at the top of the agenda of the federal government. government .The delegation who met the Prime Minister include Pir Syed Arif Hussain Gillani the President of Ulema council Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Kashmir and leader of Jamiat-e-Ulema -e-Islam (F) Moullana Kamal-ud-Din Azad.
