People in developing nations including, Pakistan are quickly upon their adoption of technology especially, mobile for the use of social media. Recent research shows that in Pakistan 53 pc of the adult population now owning cellphones mostly to keep in touch with social media. Moreover, social media is a great combination of technology and social interaction, social media has led to positive changes in the way people communicate and share information. Today, a few people read newspapers as social networking websites have become a source of news to them. It takes a considerable amount of time for the newspapers or magazines to get printed and convey your information about something that happened the previous day but the social media website will take less than a minute to keep you abreast of the latest happenings throughout the globe. Furthermore, social media is a great platform to showcase your extraordinary talent and abilities. Social media is a great device for education which has made the sharing of knowledge, ideas, and opinions very quick across the globe. Similarly, social media is currently most widely used by companies to improve and expand their business. However, there are endless benefits of social media. Sometimes, it compels you to wonder how monotonous would be your life without it. Many of us can’t even imagine a day in life without social media and nor would we ever feel the need to be without it. In short, social media has plenty of good uses as it allows stories or events that began locally to gain global or worldwide attention.
