ISLAMABAD: Federal cabinet has accorded approval to present federal budget for the financial year 2021-22 in National Assembly (NA).
The cabinet met here Friday under the Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
During the meeting budget papers and financial bill 2021 were presented.
The cabinet has given yes nod to increase the salaries of the government employees and pension by 10 percent besides approving financé bill 2021 with important amendments.
Approval has also been given to impose taxes on mobile phones
PM was told during the briefing Ehsas program budget was being increased. Subsidy is being increased in food and electricity sectors. Grants are being enhanced for Kamyab Jawan program and housing projects.
The documents related to new financial year budget have been provided in parliament house.
