Quetta, (Parliament Times) : Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan during addressing the inaugural function of Data, Command and Communication Center at Central Police Office, Balochistan, Quetta as the Chief Guest, has said that digitization of police is essential for further improvement in law and order situation. Provincial Ministers Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Parliamentary Secretaries Bushra Rind, Mubeen Khan Khilji, Member Provincial Assembly Khalil George, Chief Minister’s Liaison Assistant Prince Ahmed Ali Baloch, IG Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir Rai and other senior officials were also present on the occasion. While briefing about the said center, the officials said that Personnel, crime, investigation, security, profiling, inspection, discipline will also be made effective, as well as the entire data of criminals and crimes will be recorded through this system and criminals through modern data and command center. Identification of records will be possible. The briefing further said that data of residents and passengers in hotels and registration and identification of tenants will be assisted while data of each police station will be available through integrated communication system. Surveillance systems will be launched in the districts and five more satellite mobile police service centers will be set up. The system will also have an e-tagging complaint management system and digital monitoring, while the center will have 15 emergency call centers, 1715 complaint centers, task management, video wall solutions and crime mapping. On the occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the IG Police Balochistan and his entire team and said that the Data Command and Communication Center is a very important system which is a significant step towards modern policing. The Chief Minister also formally inaugurated the Women Smart Police Station, Smart Police Station Civil Line and Police Mobile Service Center and inspected various parts and areas of the Data, Command and Communication Center.
