ISLAMABAD: As many as 140 persons died and 4298 persons tested positive in the country in the last 24 hours Friday.
As per statistics issued by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) 44846 corcona tests were conducted in 24 hours taking the tally of tests 1210183. 4298 positive cases were reported bringing the total positive cases to 850131 in the country.
289646 persons tested positive in Sindh, 314517 in Punjab, 122520 in KP, 77414 in Islamabad, 23016 in Balochistan, 17660 in Azad Kashmir and 5358 in Giligit-Baltistan so far.
The number of active corona cases stand at 83699 while over 5000 patients are stated to be in critical condition.
According to NCOC data, 4631 patients have been recovered in one day taking the tally of recovered persons to 747755.
