ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad will announce on April 22 the decision on acquittal plea of former aviation advisor Mehtab Abbasi and others in the reference pertaining to illegal appointment of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) PIA.
The court has fixed the date for announcing the decision on the acquittal pleas of the accused persons. The decision on the acquittal pleas of other accused including Irfan Elahi, Musharraf Rasool will also be announced on April 22.
Mehtab Abbasi and others are charged with appointing Musharraf Rasool as CEO PIA illegally.
According to NAB this move on the part of the accused persons caused heavy loss to the national kitty.
