Farooq Haider asserts of retaining power in AJK through “land-slide” victory in coming polls

MIRPUR (AJK),    (Parliament Times) :   Azad Jammu & Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan Saturday asserted that his ruling party will again come into power through securing land-slide victory in the forthcoming general elections in Azad Jammu Kasyhmir in view of tremendous developmental works executed for the socioeconomic uplift and prosperity of the people of the state.

He was talking to a delegation of senior notables and leaders of his party from Bagh district, who called on him at Jammu Kashmir House in the federal capital under the leadership of the information Minister Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas on Saturday.

Haider emphasized that the success of AJK Chapter of his ruling PML [N] in the next AJK general election was imperative to accelerate the already fast-paced tempo of the developmental activities in the region.

Farooq Haider said on coming into power again his next government will ensure the provision of jobs to the unemployed educated youth on merit and will lay a strong edifice for sustainable development in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
The AJK PM stated that his government had completed mega developmental projects for the socio economic uplift of the people irrespective of any political affiliations.

He said revolutionary steps were taken to extend jobs to the educated youth on merit and mega developmental projects were completed without any political affiliations purely on the requirements of the people.

Haider said the government has achieved self sufficiency in financial matters and maintained strict financial discipline following the due financial assistance of the government of Pakistan to Azad Jammu Kashmir government which helped to complete major development projects for the wellbeing of the people of the state.

The Prime Minister said that he will visit Bagh and the other constituencies of the state to start the election campaign .

Speaking on the occasion Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas expressed the hope that AJK’s incumbent ruling PML (N) will retain power in AJK securing success in the next general elections in AJK because of the outstanding performance if the PM Farooq Haider-led sitting government – which succeeded in resolving long awaited employment issues including those emanating to Bagh district opening new vistas of job opportunities to the unemployed educated youth across the state purely on merit, he concluded.
