Barrister Khalid Khurshid and Sardar Tanvir Ilyas agree to set up investment and trade mechanism in Punjab and GB
Islamabad,(Parliament Times): A meeting was held between Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab and Senior Leader of PTI Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan and Chief Organizer Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Saifullah Khan Niazi in the presence of senior PTI leader Syed Noman Shah and it was decided in a meeting with Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Barrister Khalid Khurshid that a mechanism for investment and trade will be set up between the Punjab government and the Gilgit-Baltistan government. Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Barrister Khalid Khurshid expressed his wish to Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan that the Punjab government should also provide assistance in investment and trade in Gilgit-Baltistan. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said with the efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar not only the problems faced in Punjab regarding investment and trade are being solved but also the volume of investment in Punjab is increasing and Punjab is moving ahead even in trade. The government of Balochistan is also being assisted in these areas. He said that in the light of the directive of the Chief Minister of Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan like other provinces and regions would also be included in this stream. He further said in the early stages, technical assistance can be provided to the GB government. Meanwhile, by setting up an office in GB, the two governments can be brought to a higher level of cooperation with each other. Terming the leadership, vision and manifesto of Prime Minister Imran Khan as a path of interest, he said that the party would conduct a clean sweep in the coming elections in Azad Kashmir.
