QUETTA,    (Parliament Times)  : Parliamentary Secretary for Information Bushra Rind has said that restoration of infrastructure is essential to address the backwardness of the province. The present government is pursuing an integrated strategy in this regard. “Work is in full swing on infrastructure rehabilitation and other public projects in the province”, she added. She said that A network of roads is being laid across the province and traffic flow is being improved through underpasses and overhead bridges in all the districts of the province. The 150 billion bypass in Lasbela district is one such link. Bushra Rind said that the present government is working hard for the betterment of the communication sector in the province so as to ensure the best transportation facilities for the people of the province.

She further said that a wide network of roads was being laid in remote areas of inner Balochistan. This will make it easier for residents of remote areas to reach cities. The Parliamentary Secretary further said that the coming and construction of roads would enable farmers in rural and agricultural areas to access the markets of the major cities of the province and improve the national economy. She concluded that this will not only benefit the local landlords economically but will also significantly help in the delivery of agricultural commodities.
