ISLAMABAD, (Parliament Times) : Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Azad Kashmir Poonch President Sardar Hafiz Saghir has said that party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be welcomed on his arrival to attend the Kashmir Solidarity Day rally on 5 February to expose conspiracies to divide Kashmir which is important to thwart. The PPP will thwart the conspiracies of partition of Kashmir with all its might. He said that the PPP is based on the Kashmir issue and in every era the PPP has fought for the right of Kashmiris to self-determination. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari challenged India as soon as he stepped into the political arena and demanded from India to end its aggressive occupation of Kashmir by raising his voice.
He said that Bilawal declared that the whole of Kashmir is ours while talking to media representatives. He said that party workers led by party president Chaudhry Latif Akbar would fully participate in the meeting on 5 February and Bilawal would be given a historic welcome on the soil of Muzaffarabad. He said that some unscrupulous parties in the upcoming elections in Azad Kashmir are dreaming of success through others. But, I want to make it clear to them that they will not allow the Gilgit-Baltistan elections to be rigged like this. Conspiracies were hatched against the PPP in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections and the PPP’s mandate was stolen. He said that The PPP won 25 percent while the ruling PTI won 24 per cent of the votes. These are the figures of the Election Commission. The PPP under the leadership of party president Chaudhry Latif Akbar will protect the people’s right to vote with all its might within Azad Kashmir.
He concluded that the 5th February holiday was announced by Benazir Bhutto Shaheed and all saluted her efforts for Kashmir.
