Says some people want to run party as a one man show
LAHORE,(Parliament Times): Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab and PTI leader Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has said that PTI needs to be organized on a war footing to win the elections in Azad Kashmir.
“Pakistan Imran Khan wants to ensure the participation of clean and transparent people from other parties but unfortunately some people did not understand this and wanted to run the party as a one man show”, Khan said while talking to media persons in Lahore.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan has proved that he was a true ambassadors of Kashmiris by highlighting Kashmir cause at every international forum”, he said adding that the PM also expressed his love for Kashmiris by announcing his visit to Azad Kashmir on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day. The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab and PTI leader further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had instructed us to include honest people in the party fold. He said that it was unfortunate that PTI-AJK has been turned into a one-man show over the past seven years. “That is reason the PM had once again issued clear instructions making it abundantly clear that only honest people should be taken in the party fold”, he said adding that I have taken a stand on it but some people vehemently opposed and even went resorted to mudslinging and character assassination.
“PTI is the name of Imran Khan and he is our leader. All others including me are his workers. Under Imran Khan’s vision, we want to make Azad Kashmir a welfare state”, Khan said. Yesterday, the Prime Minister said that by making Azad Kashmir a prosperous state, a positive message could be sent across the line of control”.
He expressed the hope that the PTI under Imran Khan will win the upcoming elections by a two-third majority. Replying to a question, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that by building and developing Azad Kashmir, it can be made a welfare model state. “Unfortunately, 15 years after the earthquake, more than 600 educational institutions have not been tendered and kids are forced to take classes under open sky. Hospitals have become a means of referring people to Rawalpindi and Islamabad. No single institution can be cited as an example”, he maintained. The ruling party of Azad Kashmir he said would be defeated and the people will make the PTI successful by holding it accountable through voting.
Sardar Tanveerr Alias Khan said that Imran Khan was the first ruler of Pakistan who raised the issue of Kashmir in every international forum with great beauty and courage which exposed the extremist face of Modi. On Kashmir Solidarity Day, he said, Prime Minister Imran Khan, who bravely stands with Kashmiris on every such occasion, will not only visit the LOC this time but will also address a public meetings.
