MUZAFFARABAD, (Parliament Times) : The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Hiader Khan has directed the officials of Mirpur Development Authority to take all possible steps to make Mirpur the most modern city of Azad Kashmir.
Presiding over the Meeting of the Board of directors of Mirpur development authority here on Tuesday, he said the present government has not only protected the resources of Mirpur but took serious steps to stop the embezzlement of the past governments. He said commercial plots will be auctioned instead of allotment and added that the government could not be held responsible for the mismanagement in the past regime .He said he is the only Prime Minister who neither allotted any plot from the Mirpur development authority nor took any benefit . The meeting approved the budget of the Mirpur development authority and decided to take further steps to make the Mirpur development authority financially strengthen .The meeting was attended by the Secretary Finance Asmatullah Shah,Principal Secretary Eshan Khaild Kiani ,Chairman Development Authority Anwar Ghazi , Commissioner Mirpur and Administrator Municipal Corporation Mirpur.
