It no more secret now that both the USA and India have been trying to encircle Pakistan and China. The policy of Mr Obama” Pivot to South Asia” has been taking root and the BECA (Basic Exchange and Coperation agreement) is the continuation of that. This agreement is the fourth one which is linked with three previous agreements: General security of military information agreement (2002), logistic exchange memorandum of agreement (2016), communication campapability and security agreement (2018). The accord has taken place at a juncture where the relations of India with both Pakistan and China are strained. This unison could further deteriorate the IPR (Indo Pacific Region) and South_Central Asia. The Concord aims in militarily cooperation, interoprobability, defence manufacturing, sharing geospatial intelligence, map information and satelite images, GPS information for navigation, access to topographical and aeronautical data. In addition, this will further help India enhance accuracy of automatid system and weapons like missiles and drones, which would have serious repercussions for the region particularly, for Pakistan and China. In a juncture where the US_China rivalry is on peak, where China-India are at war with each other on their borders and at a time when India is not leaving any stone unturned to malign and vitiate Pakistan; the BECA agreement could further worsen the relations and peace not only with these states but also the region. China who is going to surpass the USA economically, which has become the master of the region by occupying trade, has been an obstacle in the ways of Indian and American hegemony. This enmity has brought both India and America closed togather so that to stop the accelerated growth of Chinese economy and political influence. The agreement could provide America every possible access to Chinese nuclear assets, espionage, aeronautical and other information. For this purpose, to contain China, the US Navy has plan to deploy its 60 per cent of its surface ships in Indo_Pacific region, as America and India are the part of QUAD allience, (where Japan and Australia are already advancing in geo_spatial technology). India which has already many military facilities and presence in Arabian sea, will now help American Navy through this agreement. As for as Pakistan is concerned, the American policy of espionage of Pakistan’s nuclear assets will increase. The advancement of Indian drones and missile technology will further deteriorate the sovereignty of Pakistan. Indian malicious desire for Surgical strike will be accelerated. The security of Pakistan will be in stake. This agreement justifies that American policy towards Pakistan is based on opportunistic lines. Despite the ally of America in war on terrorism, the sacrifices which Pakistan beared in military, social and economic fronts, the agreement is a serious blow to the very existence of Pakistan. Pakistan and China has no option rather to unite against this bitchy agreement. It is high time that both the states should work togather in technological field so that to encounter this US_ Indian nexus. The best possible policy option could be to establish allience with Russia and Iran, whose security, military assets and sovereignty could also be in jeopardize.
