I am alumna of the Islamia University Bahawalpur,department of Applied Psychology. I have learned and experienced so many new things in such a short period of time,and it has gone by so fast.Well The purpose of this column is appreciation to the faculty members specially Dr Mohammad Saleem from the department of Applied Psychology, islamia university Bahawalpur for his efforts to increase the quality of education and promotion of positive mental health with the collaboration of faculty members. The first meeting is held on 19th November 2020, in Department of Applied Psychology under the Chairmanship of Dr. Muhammad Saleem with all faculty members. “The three years growth vision” along with proposed timeline of goals is presented by the presider of meeting.The purpose of “three vision growth” is to grow and flourish the department of Applied Psychology in next 3 years.This growth vision is based on seven main goals. which are following: I. Academics: this goal based on Practical utilization of theoretical knowledge, Activity Based Learning, Improvement in Teaching Standard, Research and Publications, Self-help guides. Conferences and Journals. II. Improvement in Physical Infrastructure: this goal deals with the Departmental Renovation Classrooms up gradation (Audio-Video aids). III. Provision of Psychological Services: its aim to encourage “wellness” by addressing psychological vulnerability through student advisory and counseling center and providing psychological and psychiatry services. IV. National and International Linkage Scheme: this goal deals with the Student and Faculty exchange programs V. Departmental Projection through Social Media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). VI. Formation of Departmental Society: this society will arrange the workshops and seminars and other co-curricular activities. VII. Establishing Institute of Modern Psychological Sciences: Because human behavior is so varied, the number of subfields in psychology is also constantly growing and evolving. So this goal will Create Feasibilities to establish new Disciplines within Psychology. “GOOD TEACHERS KNOW HOW TO BRING OUT THE BEST IN STUDENTS AND INSTITUE” In fact you can’t have a great university without a great faculty members here I would like to mention the names of three years growth vision’s team from the department of applied Psychology, Islamia university Bahawalpur A legendary personality, a charismatic and rational teacher Dr. Mohammad Saleem, Dr. Masood Nadeem,Dr Samar Fahad, Mr Ahmad Bilal, Mr Ali Raza, Mr Khushi Mohmmad and other team members.
