In 1967, The World Bank in its report predicted with regards to Pakistan and Portugal that the two countries in the world can reach the first world countries category in future owing to Human capital, Untapped resources, and Effective Bureaucracy. But what happened? Pakistan is a single state on this globe that could not continue its original image only because of domestic fights on  politics, religion, vested interests as well as terrorism. Pakistan had to compete with the first world countries, but, unfortunately, due to the Economic Recession even so it is so far running behind its neighboring countries.

On the population ranking, it stands at 5. On the Economic ranking, it stands at 4. Why? The people must understand this bitter reality of the world that the countries do not respect a country only on the basis of population factor, but the countries pay honor to that country which is financially strong and politically stable. But, unfortunately, the economy of Pakistan is slowing down, it is visiting countries for the sake of Aids, its GDP growth is only 3pc, it is crumbled into inflation, corruption, class segregation, personality specific, and low literacy rate. Such factors have damaged the image of Pakistan in the world and these are the sole reasons that it is unable to help the Muslims of Kashmir just because India has strengthened its economy and foreign policy. The Super Power countries are supporting India and the Kashmir issue has become a nut to crack. In these crucial times, Pakistan must bring positive changes in its foreign policy and should not involve in world affairs unless its economy and GDP growth come on the track. Economic woes can be eliminated only after taking responsibility for the whole country instead of a single province.

The government must endeavour to grow GDP from all the districts of Pakistan and utilise the human resources for the country’s benefits only. It should institute foreign policy, promote quality education through increasing literacy rate. The industrial sector should be strengthened by the appointment of full trained labors. The agricultural sector must be productive enough to play a role in the growth of the economy. Agriculture is the main resource of a growing economy by exporting agricultural products to non-agrarian countries. The service sector should be cooperative with the government for not hiding private assets. In short, Each person of Pakistan on any post has to play an individual role in this concern to come out of economic woes, inflation as well as corruption. There is a dire need to get rid of the Class Segregation system in Pakistan. This is the main reason that has eaten out the economy of the country and has invited poverty on a large scale.
