RIYADH: Islamic Military Alliance commander and former army chief Gen (Retd) Raheel Sharif has said owing to revocation of article 370 and article 35-A in August 2019 brutalities in Occupied Kashmir have increased manifold.
“ Kashmiris have rendered unforgettable sacrifices and they are ready to give every sacrifice till the realization of their objectives and dreams. Scrapping article 370 and article 35-A in August 2019 has led to accelerate the pace of Indian forces atrocities in Indian held Kashmir”, Gen (Retd) Raheel Sharif said this while addressing a seminar entitled human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir and peace in the region in Pakistan embassy here.
The ceremony was attended by Pakistan ambassador Raja Ali Ijaz, former Saudi ambassador Ali Awadh Asseri, diplomats and dignitaries.
A ceremony was held in Pakistan consulate in Jeddah to condemn Indian aggression in Occupied Kashmir besides arresting the world attention towards Kashmir issue.
The number of participants was restricted owing to corona virus epidemic.
Jeddah consulate staffers and Kashmiri community attended the ceremony. The messages of President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi were read out therein.
