The Pakistani students are applying for the admissions more than two to three HEIs/Universities across the Pakistan especially Engineering & Technology, Biological & Medical Sciences, Agricultural & Veterinary Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Management Sciences Universities/ HEIs. HEIs/ Universities are offering their admissions two times in the year who follow semester/ trimester system and one time in the year who follows Annual System. When the admissions tests are conducted by the Universities in various dates and final selection process also completed in different dates across the country. At the time of selection the students are selected in one university/HEI and deposit their fees in the respective accounts of the HEI/ University. Moreover, after one to two week later another university announces the test results and final admission process. Now the students have two option either joint first one or other. This situation will create the issues for poor students because the students already paid fees in the first one HEI/University. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has devised “National Fee-Refund Policy at HEIs of Pakistan Revised” dated December 7, 2015. This policy was issued after the unanimously agreed by the Head of HEIs of both public and private sector universities of Pakistan. The National Fee-Refund Policy reflect that the 100% full fee will be refund upto 7th day of commencement of classes, for Semesters/Trimester System and upto 15th day of commencement of classes for Annual System. 50% half fee will be refund upto 15th day of commencement of classes, for Semesters/Trimester System and 16th to 30th day of commencement of classes for Annual System. 0% No fee will be refund from 16th day of commencement of classes, for Semesters/ Trimester System and from 31th day of commencement of classes for Annual System. The percentage shall be applicable on all component of fee, except for security and admission charges. Timeline shall be calculated continuously covering both weekdays and weekend. In the view of above students are advised to be careful about the changing or shifting the HEIs/Universities across the Pakistan at time of selecting best Institute of the country and keep in the view of “National Fee-Refund Policy at HEIs of Pakistan Revised dated December 2015, and save from huge amount deposit in the HEIs and embracement.
