Rawalpindi:  (Parliament Times)  Muhammad Abdullah Gul Chairman Tehreek-e-Jawanan-e-Pakistan and DG Mesac Research Center met with Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) to discuss in detail the growing sectarianism in the country and the political climate. Speaking on the occasion Gul said that sectarianism was once again on the rise and it was high time to control it.

He said that anti-state elements were hell bent on dividing the people on sectarian basis, which he said could lead to irreparable damage to the country.

He said that the US wants to strengthen ISIS in Afghanistan before the withdrawal so that peace cannot be restored in Afghanistan. On the other hand, he said that the US wants to reconcile the Taliban and the Afghan government. “This is a two-pronged US policy. “It’s very dangerous not only for the Afghan nation but it would be detrimental for the peace and security of the entire region”.
