MIRPUR (AJK): (Parliament Times) Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq has lauded the vibrant and effective role of the members of the British Parliament for their continued support to grant the Kashmiri people their right to self determination.
He was speaking as chief guest on a video at avirtual Kashmir conference hosted by a UK-based Right of Self Determination International on Monday.
The Prime Minister said that British parliamentarians have always supported the Kashmir cause and expressed the hope that they would continue to play their role in attaining the Kashmiri people right to self determination.
The Prime Minister said that Kashmir is not a bilateral issue but it was question of granting the Kashmiri their agreed right to self determination and added that this issue is not only a matter of life and death for Kashmiri but directly linked with their future.
He said Kashmiri people have been facing the worst kind of atrocities of Indian forces and raising the voice for freedom from Indian despotic rules.
Over one million Kashmiri have been martyred by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir and targeted the business establishment, hospital , educational institutions and even ambulances to crush the freedom movement, PM added.
He said Indian government is engaged to start systematic mass killings of Kashmiri people with the support of RSS.
He urged upon the international community to play their role in resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute which is potential threat for establishing lasting peace in the region.
He said India is also bent upon to settle 50 lack non state actors in occupied Kashmir which is clear violations of United Nations resolutions and is totally against the international laws.
The people of occupied Kashmir have been facing communication lockdown for the last one year and their fundamental rights have been denied, he added.
Speaking on the occasion the High commissioner of Pakistan to Great Britain Nafees Zakaria said that India is involved in extra judicial killings of Kashmiri people and for this purpose torture cells have been set up to kill the Kashmiri under black laws and added that the Indian government also planned to rehabilitate the extremist Hindu on the land of Kashmiri people.
The conference was also addressed by the member of the British House of lord, Lord Nazir Ahmed ,the host of the conference Raja Najabat Hussain and the members of the British parliaments.
