ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 2 deaths in last 24 hours by the novel coronavirus as the nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 6,342 on Sunday.
According to the statistics issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 484 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours as the number of positive cases has surged to 298,509.
Till now 130,483 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 97,166 in Punjab, 36,591 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,734 in Islamabad, 13,229 in Balochistan, 2,327 in Azad Kashmir and 2,979 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 2,422 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Sindh, 2,210 in Punjab, 1,255 in KP, 144 in Balochistan, 175 in Islamabad, 71 in GB and 65 in Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan has so far conducted 2,757,709 coronavirus tests and 25,384 in last 24 hours. 285,898 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 532 patients are in critical condition.
