MUZAFFARABAD, (Parliament Times): Young Pak army soldier shaheed Lieutenant Nasir Khalid, who embraced martyrdom in a land mine blast with three other soldiers in North Waziristan on Thursday, was laid to rest with full military honour in his ancestral graveyard in native village of Tariqabad in Muzaffarabad on Friday. Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan offered the funeral prayer of the martyred the Pak Army officer Lieutenant Nasir Khalid. Addressing the participants of the funeral prayer on this occasion, the Prime Minister said that Shaheed Nasir Khalid was a proud son of the soil who sacrificed his life for the defense of his beloved homeland. Paying homage to the martyr Lieutenant Nasir Khalid the AJK Premier said martyrs are our great honor & pride. “Pak Army rendered matchless supreme sacrifices of lives for the defense of our homeland, the Kashmiri nation always stand with the valiant Pak Army”, he added. Thousands of people, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Masood Khan and political leaders, also attended the funeral prayer.
