Girls education! Education is globally acknowledged as the most Powerful means of empowering girls and protecting them from the violation of their human rights and educating girls has also huge benefits for health, prosperity and security. But unfortunately in our society girls are perceived to be less valuable once educated, and less likely to abide by the will of the father, brother or husband and often male siblings are given the chance to attend school instead. There are many reasons which bocomes
barriars in girls education. The biggest reason is early marriage. In many parts of our country early marriage is seen as a higher priority than education. The low value attached to girls’ schooling means few other options are available to them. By international reaseach it is estimated that every year 15 million girls are married before they turn 18. After marriage they leave the education system and, because they have fewer educational skills, they and their families are more likely to live in poverty. Girls are also forced to stay at home to take care of younger siblings and bear the main burden of housework and there educating boy is considered a sound investment and for girls it is considered as
waste of time and because this many girls begin working in homes as domestic servants. There are often legal, religious and traditional practices also that also discriminate against girls having chance to get an education. One quotation which inspires me is "If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation, Because when girls are educated, their countries become stronger and more prosperous. So it is our responsibility to educate our girls and make our nation
strong. Lets break down the barriers together which lays in girls education!Anthony Sahotra Depression and Domestic Violence amid COVID 19As COVID 19 has indispensable made an ample number of people fired from their jobs. It seems that the people attached to small jobs like waiters in Hotels, like transport drivers and staff and the staff of private organisations, are being fired from the jobs due to rapid increase in COVID cases from two months. PM Imran Khan has started Ehsas Emergency Program to facilitate these daily wagers by providing 15 thousand per month. Provided one time 15 thousand to
poor daily wagers in a month, but it seems no further entertaining poor peoples by providing money in next month because I think so its in process. Due to incompatible decisions of not taken any preventive measures at the start of this upheaval and now again a heavy burden of new budget on the shoulder of poor ones and daily wagers, the poor people are deprived of taking two times meal. The brutally against
women and girls has also been raised, as brutally against women is on peak especially in Pakistan. The girls killed by their brother in the name of honour killing in Waziristan as ill literate people deemed women as a curse. The government in dire need to introduce such programs to entertain poor daily wagers by rendering two times meal besides lockdown was eased a month ago, which has resulted in sudden ramping of COVID cases. Government has still ample time in their hands to take the best measures to eradicate the COVID 19 and bring positive schemes to facilitate poor people as to eliminate
domestic violences. Engineer Meer Waqar Badar KandhroZ.
