RAWALPINDI: District administration has sealed three more localities in Rawalpindi in the wake of growing positive cases of corona virus epidemic.
Talking to a private TV Channel deputy commissioner Rawalpindi Anwar ul Haq said the areas of Dhok Khabba, Gulistan Colony and Range road have been sealed.
The markets, general store and grocery shops will remain open from 9 a.m to 7 p.m in the localities which have been sealed. The milk, mutton and beef shops will be allowed to remain open from 7 a.m to 7 p.m while medical stores will remain open round the clock.
Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi has warned violators of SOPs will be fined. The decision to seal the areas has been taken to prevent corona virus from spreading.
Smart lockdown has been clamped on the districts of Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Gujarat.
