Bagh: (Parliament Times) Minister for Information, Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas, while paying eulogizing tributes to Burhan Wani Shaheed has said that his martyrdom has produced thousands of freedom fighters who were ready to sacrifice their lives for the noble cause of freedom from Indian occupation.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Minhas said that the spirit of Kashmiri people has not diminished despite the Indian state repression against Kashmiris.
Voicing his serious concerns over the prevailing precarious situation in Kashmir he said that human rights violations in the territory have touched new heights during the recent months. He said that it was quite unfortunate that the international community was watching the situation like a silent spectator.
Kashmiris he said were being killed, maimed and tortured day in and day out by the occupation forces. He said that India had blocked internet and other media services in occupied Kashmir to cover up its actions so that the grievances of the oppressed Kashmiris could not reach the world.
