Islamabad: Federal government has decided to impose heavy fines in case of violation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to save citizens from Corona virus across the country and also issued directions to all provinces in this regard.
Government has concerns over increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the country for that it is also considering many options to save people from this pandemic.
In the first phase, federal government has decided to make sure implementation on SOPs at any cost across the country as spread of Coronavirus can only be stopped this way .
Special teams will be constituted from all provinces including Azad Kashmir for the implementation of SOPs .
According to federal government heavy fines will be imposed in case of violation of SOPs.
On the other hand, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on political information Shehbaz Gill through a tweet said that markets will be closed upon not following SOPs of lockdown in the light of decisions of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
He further wrote that operation has been started in Punjab and K-P and we have to follow SOPs at any cost.
He said a rapid increase in the COVID-19 cases is seen after Eid and we are heavily concerned over this state of affairs.
